TRUMPTRAIN, very nice video and of course one great busy layout

Threw down some curves at "sump pump corner" to help me visualize how my engines, etc. would look.
The curves are 63-72-80-96. I think the Trainmasters - at just over 15" long - look best on the 96" curves..... of course.

I had fun creating this snow plow train doing a "practice drill" just in case there was any major snow storms this year Looks like the train will continue to be parked on it's siding until next winter.

Pat, I am glad to see you are ready when the snow comes!
Finishing up today's switching job:
Tomorrow's AM freight consist is spotted out of the way behind the old Depot and the Dinner Train is victualed-up, the Chefs are at work and the Wait staff is ready. Waiting for this evening's Dinner patrons to board:
Five minutes before train time the Salmon-in-foil will go in the ovens. Fillet Mignon will go on the grill 3 three minutes after the train starts to move. The Duck is already baked and is being held warm. As with some Dining Cars back-in-the-day Patrons pre-order because the timing is fairly exact to serve this many meals in this length of time from a tiny kitchen. There are three dinner calls: at 5:00, 6:00 and 7:00. The trip out-and-back is one hr and the scenery, while not stunning, is aesthetically pleasing as the train rolls along the banks of Oil Creek.

Lew, that meal prep on your dinner train is making me hungry ! sounds good !!

Brian, I forgot to mention that Prime Rib is always on the menu. It is an ideal entree, being prepped ahead and easily held for serving.
Dining cars were/are peak short-order. I remember as a kid sneaking peaks into Dining Car kitchens and wondering how those people managed to do all that cooking in that tiny space. Hotter'n blue blazes too. Even in the '60s some had wood-burning cook ranges.
