K-line Scale Hudson smoke unit

Hello all, I have a k-line scale conventional Hudson which I installed the ERR cruise commander. Not that its running on higher voltage i need to install the proper resistor in the smoke unit. After installing the cruise commander the smoke stack looked like a blow torch! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Usually ERR recommends a 27ohm smoke resistor.
