It was a Special day for LCCA members at the 47th Annual Convention held at the hotel Murano in Tacoma WA.

Convention Managers "Boeing Bob" Carter, Dienzel Dennis and Dinah Carter and members loaded up on busses headed out for a day of fun aboard a Mount Ranier train excursion. You guys lucked up with very some decent weather (we got some serious heat and massive smoke from a Canadian wildfire after the convention was over). We're going through the longest dry spell in recorded history right now (which is supposed to end Sunday morning) in the area, so you didn't have to deal with the rain.

Glad to see a good time was had by all. I love the new logging museum at Mineral and all the fine displays they have there. That run used to be a 'train ride to nowhere' before that for many years.
