I really like this engine.Quiet running. Railsounds are so so. I would like to do a tender powered railsounds and do away with the wire tether However I noticed the the tether has 4 wires, I assume that power from the engine is there but are the other wires for something else? I can get the collector powered trucks to swap out for the non pickup originals. The other issue is the whistle sound. The J requires that deep throaty sound. Maybe I can power the existing Liontech sound unit from the electric pickup trucks
