I purchased a 71-2772-250 truss bridge from Train World and it appears either the flasher it came with is incorrect or the bridge requires modification to install it. The parts that make up the top of the bridge could also be incorrect. The wiring if installed as directed in the instructions would be pinched enough to be hazardous. The bridge came assembled out of the box and is also missing the "wire clips" and the pier mounting screws. I could easily omit the flasher and be done with it but at these prices I shouldn't have to do that. The instructions sound easy enough but it doesn't  just snap together. Is there a captain obvious out there or did it come with the wrong parts? Any help would be appreciated.

Howdy Mario!

Are these the bridges you have? I would agree, the tabs that connect the blinker assembly to the top of the bridge are a little fragile - be cautious. I actually drilled out the opening between the two girders to allow the wires to run to the top of the bridge.

Overall, they are nice models and to have two bridges blinking side by side is a nice effect.

Very nice!

I have that bridge also and I have no intentions of putting the flasher on top, just my preference.  I do plan on weathering it in the future.

Don Winslow, Your layout looks terrific, do you have any other pictures of it?  What is the size of it, I'm looking for a track plan I can use in my room, would you mind sharing the track plan for it.  I thought it was very cool to see your wife running those great looking SF F Units.  Great looking layout.
