Can someone tell me where to plug in the white plug from the body to which red plug on the chassis?

It might not matter. What does the wht plug go to, is there another plug for the other red one? If not and wires are same color on red plug, it won't matter most likely. G
Where does it go on the shell? class lights? Ditch? I don't think it a headlight.
At one time the schematic for the diesel upgrade (proto-2) kit on MTH's web site was in colour but not anymore. (at least here.) The steam schematic still is.
Oh OH.... The engine is a proto-3 Disregard the Schematic part of my post.
Usually MTH matches the colors of the connectors.
Well I got a hold of MTH service and he said if there not marked just try one, if thats not right try the other, they are just led's you can't hurt anything. so I did and I think they are both the same. However this being an SP tunnel motor they have a red light in the nose, it no longer comes on no matter where I plug it in (It's a reverse light). I have a cotton belt also, but it is a newer model and is wired different (flashing headlights). On the cotton belt the red light comes on when put into reverse but goes out as soon engine moves.

Ok so where does the Wht plug go? Did you remove it? Are you sure it doesn't go to a plug in the nose that makes contact with the spring pad?

G you are correct; but I called MTH before any responses came in. It seems to go to the red light in the nose, hard to tell a bunch of wires there and a big glob of glue to hold them in place. I did a feature reset and now the red light is on, however still no rule 17 lighting, stays dim. I wonder if a factory reset will change things. I'll try that.
