Our modular group Stillmeadow Crossing has been running conventional and DCS on our 24x36' 3-track modular layout.  We recently added TMCC connecting to the common ground outside rails of all tracks.  It works fine except on 1 module:  my elevated station module.  The engine stops dead there.  If I power off and back on, I restore conventional control, but not TMCC.   I have to stop and restart it at another part of the layout to restore TMCC.  The station is located furthest in the layout fom the TMCC connection.  So, I thought, maybe it is a signal strength problem.

Here I the odd part.  The station is lit by incandescent bulbs, but I have the 12v flexible LED strips under the elevated platform lighting directly over the tracks.  If I power off the LEDs, the problem resolves.   There is no metal in the station or the platform above the tracks other than the wiring for the lighting.  So, what is the fix here?

thanks

Bob

Thanks guys.

All modules have buss wiring with feeds to all 9 rails (6 outside rails are common, 3 center rails have separate power feeds).

I'll try adding a ground wire.   First, I'll lay it along the track to see if it works.

We are set up at a mall til Christmas, so I can't easily move the module's location right now.
