Purchased yesterday at the Amherst Train Show at the Big E in Springfield, Mass. An AHM O scale model of Casey Jones locomotive 382 that he rode to the Promised Land. Can't run it on my 3 rail AC layout but it's a cool model of an historic locomotive.

I have/had one of these kits somewhere....l was thinking of trying to three-rail it, but...it was forgotten..bet somebody has done that...l hope successfully, and posts here. Wonder if any three-coupled driver sets out of junk boxes have the diameter to work?
I would so buy one of these in 3R O. There has been a real lack of early steam locomotives that I'd love to see taken care of.

I rarely spread rumors BUT Some many years ago a rep from Kline at a train show told me that they had the tools for the Casey Jones 382 ten wheeler but didn't have the funds to carry through. Maybe Lionel has them. Who knows? ODD-D
Nice find! I have one I picked up many moons ago, unpainted but running. I keep looking at the Bachmann/Williams 4-6-0 for a mish-mash, but haven’t really sized it up yet.
