Got a missile 6630 Missile launcher. In good shape, but not functioning well. Went through it to do a Missile Launcher Tune Up and it is now working reliably.

I added a plastic bolt spacer under the diaphragm of mine and it is working perfectly now. Great work figuring something out on your own.

I have a 3665 Minuteman Missile Launching Car. The missile is inside of a boxcar, and when the launch plunger is activated (on the uncouple track), the missile raises and the hinged top doors slowly open. When the missile is fully raised, it launches.
The problem I had was that when the missile is being raised, the top doors would sometimes not open, or only partially open. I put a tiny amount of grease on the little plastic nibs of the 2 roof sections which go into holes in the side of the box car, and the roof now opens perfectly every time.
