I 'intending to install a Real Track Catenary System at a circuits into my layout.

According to MTH Instruction Guide there are so many variations in layouts and engines, it is impossible for them, to provide measurements, detailed plan, but some rules of thumb that will make outfitting the Catenary System, much easier.

As I am in the planning stages, would like to know the recommended distance between each pole, so I can determine the amount of posts that will be needed for circuit.

Thanks  in advance

Buy early, buy extra.  Can be out of production for long periods of time.  We ran tests of the longest equipment on both the inside and out side of dual track curves to check for centerline seperation.  Also ran tests as to right of way side clearances for portals, columns and other obstructions.

Dual track straight line centerline minimum we use is 4 5/8".

Minimum side clearance requirement we selected is 1/4".

Our specs may not be helpful for your particular use.

Warning, it can get crazy expensive for a Disney level of detail.  This product requires a dull vision.

Present build catenary budget just hit 8k.  No, the Mike-cat was not my idea!
