Hey everyone,

Need some guidance on the specs and where to find the DCS Signal choke coil for my PS3 board for one of my premier diesels. The original wasn't soldered very well to the board at the factory so I could barely ever get the engine to be picked up by my TIU...only ever got a 1 when I DID get the remote to detect it. All other PS3 locos work fine with perfect 10s around the layout. The original 4 legs on the coil looked like they were just sitting in the board rather then bonded to it...

Have removed the choke coil and ready to install a new one on the board if anyone has a link to the correct one and any soldering tips for reinstalling it would be appreciated, thanks all!

@GGG Because it wasn't wound correctly and was bent all to you know what and looked like it was damaged during factory install. Doubt it's custom, inductor choke coils are cheap, standardized and common in most all electronics that need to separate out frequency waves. Just need to know what the uH tolerance is and the max DC current specs for the ones MTH used on these boards and I'll be good to go...
