Need measurment for a 90 flag pole

Hi,

I picked up a 90 flag base a few weeks ago and I need to make a pole for it. How long is the pole itself? Doyle's book as it stood 14 1/2" and Greenberg says 14 3/4". I am just looking for the measurement of the pole itself, I plan on buying the finial soon.

Bottom of base to top of finial 14-1/2". That will be the finished product. I measured a MTH flag pole.

The tubing (7/16" dia.), brass or steel, is 13-1/8" in length.
