O gauge trains on the Late Late Show with James Corden

This train themed segment just ran on the Late Late Show with James Corden. I just happened to see it at a friend's house after work. The set has an elaborate collection of trains in the background. I was looking up close on my friend's big screen tv to see all the trains on display in the background. Lots of classic standard and O gauge and what looks like a working G and O scale layout. The comedy bit did not seem very funny,but it was cool to see all the train collectables on television.

 

That was absolutely horrible.

I'll stick with reruns of Johnny Carson on MeTv

I thought it was funny when James Corden was yelling at the contestants. At the beginning when he says how those celebrities are into trains was indeed horrible. Did it hit the mark of great comedy, definitely not. Rod Stewart would have gotten some of those questions correct. 

That definitely wasn't The Orient Express...

Nope, sounded more like the Polar Express to me. Definitely some generic train sounds with no exact origin. 

This whole segment was pretty lame.

Well...Allison Janney is a good actress. Dunno about the guy. It had potential to be a funny skit, but was (as usual) condescending to those of us who happen to find trains interesting...

You mean to tell me there are still some people who watch the late night TV (alleged) talk/comedy shows?

Good showing of the depths so called entertainment has sunk to.  But, was it necessary to drag trains down with?

That was embarrassing, on all levels.

The best part was the dancers dancing to the Locomotion by Little Eva.  We used to dance to it at the local teen center and record hops  in the early 60's.

OMG, yes.  I was on the show a few times.  I'm still friends with a few committee members.

Is THAT what James Corden is doing now? Oh ok, you boys over there can keep him for as long as you like...

Theu sure did get some interesting train in the back ground, saw several McCoy trains Circus and passengers. Looks like one passenger was powered. Wonder where they got the displays?
