CSX train jumps tracks, crashes into garage in Niagara Falls (wkbw.com)

That is unfortunate! Probably pretty shocking if the homeowner or neighbors were home haha
Since it is now on owner's property...can he keep it?
What a lawn ornament!

It's obvious that the reporter who wrote the piece is not a railroad fan.
Doesn't know what a Wye is??????? Really???????
Let's hope there wasn't a 69 Vette or Camaro in there. Or even a model train layout!

I think the issue is they didn't use the door on the front of the garage. You aren't sneaking that in through the window. I guess they didn't want their spouse to see their latest purchase.
Train store messed up again...I ordered Norfolk Southern.....
Happened right down the street. Here is a shot of the spot. I think they use it as a turn around.

Great set up if you want to take your train to work in the morning! I hope that was a selling point on that property.
It appears to be something that Gomez Adam’s would enjoy doing with a train engine.
Appears CSX has a thing about garages this past weekend. Derailment in Fredericksburg, VA takes out several garages.

Local “news” is such a joke. This story reminds me of why I never watch local news any more.
Maybe the homeowner should consider placing a "No Parking" sign on the back of his garage with a note that "Locomotives will be towed away at the owner's expense"?
JOE - I thought it was on your garden railroad in your yard. Glad you operation is OK.
