If you were looking for a T1 4-4-4-4 duplex used, the type of control did not matter because you were running it all with a ZW, and you found several, MTH 20-3043-1, and Lionel Lionmaster 6-38020, both approximately the same price, which one gives the least problems and which would you buy? Or is it a toss up in that they both have there plusses and minuses and flip a coin decision time

What do you mean 'kid again'? I'm still a kid at 71 and never want to grow up, its too hard being an adult, plus I still have my Lionel set traversing my layout I got when I was 4. So, in kid answer, I'll want them both, but there is that harsh reality of the adult, and I don't have that much moolah.

Since it sounds like you're running conventional, I think this is a great answer. But since you're running with a ZW, be sure to put a TVS on the transformer or the engine.
