I have not seen anything specifically for these cars.

What might work (I haven't tried it) is the FasTrack operating track (6-12054).  The rails that would be used to activate cars with shoes should match the position of the shoe on your reindeer car (brakeman, giraffe, etc).  If you bypass the switch and connect those rails to the ground it should activate your reindeer.  You would need two of them and they are not cheap ($42.99 retail).

The parts aren't available, at least from Lionel. Only one of the pieces is (or at least was around 2 years ago) listed on the Lionel website, but it is out of stock.

I had a detailed email discussion with Mike Reagan at Lionel almost 2 years ago, so he is aware of the problem.

There are quite a few older Lionel operating cars out there, but they are pre-Fastrack era. I think there is a market for tell-tales that attach to Fastrack. I have a number of giraffe cars I'd like to run on Fastrack.

Perhaps our best chance to see Fastrack tell-tale parts is a campaign to inundate Lionel with correspondence the next time (hopefully there is going to be a next time) Lionel catalogs a car with tell-tales to try and get them to make extra tell-tale parts and sell them as an upgrade set.

I also suggest Lionel revisit the engineering on a Fastrack tell-tale as the one for the reindeer car involved some trial and error adjustments to get a correct fit. Come up with a better solution without having to make adjustments.

The Christmas reindeer car came out several years ago. It included a telltale and activation rail for use with Fastrack.  Out of the box the adaptor and activation rail were rather useless.  Lionel issued instructions on making bends and crimps to secure the rail.  The problem is securing everything well enough on Fastrack to hold up for several cycles.

Yahoo groups has some pictures on modifying Fastrack well enough to hold the rail.

Otherwise its tubular track adaptors and postwar telltales and activation rails.

Several versions of the car have been issued, but none are compatible with Fastrack.
