Well, not quite the "wrong side" of the tracks; rather, more of a workman's side of the tracks, just like so many communities had, back in the 40's and 50's, in the Pittsburgh area, around steel-mill plants.
Businesses like these catered to the workmen as they passed from the mills to the roadways that led them homeward...
