Judging by the destination board of the car on the right, the wreck appears to be on the Fonda, Johnstown & Gloversville in New York. My guess is the wreck also blocked the yard lead, so the ops manager must have been tearing his hair out!

The car on the left appears to have struck the other car. Also, the motorman in the left car is on the left, so the car on the right may have been in his blind spot.

Wish me good luck, fellas...  Filled out my employment application yesterday to be a streetcar operator on the new Oklahoma City system, to become operational later this year.  This is a great101_3231101_1347IMG_1978IMG_1979IMG_1983 opportunity I just could not pass up, now I am retired and can do so.  Only, it will be taking much needed time away from working on my layout.  Oh well... must make sacrifices!!

I do not see how it could be any harder, even with the auto traffic getting use to sharing the streets, than driving the fully loaded semi's over the roads and highway/freeways I did before.  Should be a bit like when I drove school bus (that was fun!) only the route and turns are determined, cannot make any wrong turns, just stick to the rails!
