Whenever aluminum is bolted to steel, there will be preferential  galvanic corrosian on the aluminum. Anti-seize compound will help, as well as pre-painting both surfaces. On the liner United States, the aluminum superstructure was separated from the steel with a plastic sheet, and the bolts insulated by non-metal sleeves and washers.

Laz, as for how fast, 30 mph on good, smooth, welded track but mostly on jointed track it will be in the 20 mph range.

As for seats, this one did not orginally come with seats in it.

There are seats and brackets made for the cars now. I will be adding 4 of them to it.

Who wants to sit on plywood, those old timers were tough!

Here is an update on the progress on the rebuilding of the speeder.

Everything was disassembled down to every nut and bolt. Frame pieces were either sandblasted or replaced. New floor boards, running boards and the sides of the tunnel have been fabricated. Body pieces were stripped and repaired.

Now in the process of reassembling all the pieces to make sure that all the new pieces fit properly and all the holes belong where they should. After that, it is to be torn down and painted. Unlike when they originally built them, they assembled the car and then painted everything! So there was no paint between where metal pieces touched.

The engine has been completely torn down and being overhauled. Upon dissasembly found the engine to have been previously rebuilt. The piston rings were already .0020 over. So the engine has logged many a mile on it or possibly because of lack of maintanance. Should run like new after the rebuild.

I think photos stores things internally. G-drive is the cloud.

Using the attachment tool that appears in blue at the bottom as soon as you activate the composer cursor, to access Photos program and directly downloading to ogrf is how it is usually done.

I.e. either ogrf needs a file copy or it has to be hosted on a system that never disconnects and alows access.  If it disconnects, the photo can't be accessed.  You likely do disconnect and prevent outside access to files (photos) especially without direct admin. permission each time.  You have permission and a file, so it will show as your system has access to the reference; we and OGRF have neither.

Sorry, but still no joy... This is all I see for each picture.

FWIW, Here's how I attach photos, click 'Add Attachments', a window pops up (File Explorer) showing a list of folders and files. I then navigate to the folder where the pics are stored and select the pics I want to upload. Then click on the Open box in the lower right corner and up they go. When upload is complete you can select show in post or hide attachments (might not be exact terms, but they are similar).

I no longer store any photos on remote sites, everything is on local drives. So I don't know how to upload from a remote site. But you do have to upload the pics to the OGR forum for them to show up for everyone all the time.

Maybe someone else can explain this part properly if that is what you are trying to do. I think there are also some instructions in the 'Forum Tech Support' forum somewhere. It may be a 'sticky' at the top of that forum's list?
