Restore or Sell: Loco with PS-2

Long story but I have the working components for an MTH SD-90 MAC 30-2226-1, but unfortunately the shell has been destroyed. here are the options I am considering:

1) A new shell is about $100 but these are scarce, any ideas on where to find one? Any road name would be good to save it. (MTH appears to be out of these.)

2) What is the market value for a fully functional PS-2 system with a BCR per the picture, without the shell? Seems this should be useful for someone to use as an upgrade.

Other ideas welcome!

Do any other body types fit on the chassis? Can you search the MTH database on the P/N for this chassis and see if it matches the P/N on other engines?

You could also sell off the PS2 guts, the motors, and the trucks, maybe the bare chassis.

I might have your answer. I have a MTH 33-2023-1 SD90 MAC that had the PS2 board removed and put in another engine. If you can use it I will sell it to you for $100 plus the shipping from 08080. Let me know please. The cab # is 7245.
