Is it necessary to put an electronic/RF shield between layers on a multi level layout? I remember reading something on a posts about the necessity of using a "ground wire" near the track that ended in a definite electrical ground. I am beginning to layout a Legacy/MTH system and want to get it right from the get go.
For TMCC, some ground wires that are only connected to earth ground are sometimes required on multi-level layouts to help the signal strength. I'd recommend stringing the wire in tunnels of it's going to be difficult to access later, but otherwise you're probably well advised to get it together and see if there's an issue.
