I was able to get two of the boxcars that I didn't reserve but at the time he only had a few with K brakes. Just email or call him.

I will post a stock car shot tomm Rumor is that he will do a second run, those that appreciate fine models should contact Rich ASAP . This run will be considerably smaller and frankly who will do these cars again....?

One other note. Rich is in the process of his next project the ventilated boxcars. The only one's I've seen in O Scale is the All Nation Kit and Mullet river kits. If you want a different car for layout or collection I'd recommend one or more of these. I'm on the hook for three. 

Always remember with Rich's stuff.. when they are gone they're gone. He typically doesn't rerun stuff.

These cars have to be another first - the first time the K brake cars are selling out faster than AB brakes.

 

The cars are gorgeous as all of Rich's cars are. 

 

I'm definitely in for a WWII era K brake car... and I'm in for at least 3 O-17 watermelon cars.

 

Let's get some other projects tossed around for Rich.  How about those 52' gons?  Or some more tank cars?

This month's RMC has a great Essential Freight Cars article on the B3s and B6.

I hope you fellas spread the word and get a reservation in to Rich; spoke to him this morning and about 1/4 of the second run is already spoken for....     I have also suggested flat cars as a future project; he has something lined up for 2014 after the ACL project...    I will let Rich speak as its his firm.

Time is running out to order from rich. I do hope more of you will place an order for these exquisite models this week.

Rich was here last Friday and shot the new vars on my layout. Note the stock car was on P48 trucks so it not sitting real straight on my track

I didn't realize he had models of the Beth gons and X31's....  I have his email with the roads he is planning for the gons, but I believe these will follow the ventilated cars.

 

Was Norm from Protocraft there with new models by chance?

Rich had photos of the Bethlehem Gondolas on his sell sheet on his table. He has had the PRR X37 on the sell sheet. It's not a variant of the X31 as Dave described.

It was a good looking pilot model. I don't know enough about the prototype it is meant to be to comment it. But Norm spoke to the P48 meeting at the show and mentioned that he would be doing a bunch of different cars with detail differences based on the prototypes.

 

He mentioned the cars would come in one group at a time every month or so starting this Summer. I'm sure he will have more information about the models and the prototypes as they get closer to hitting the States. He did not mention price, but I would think it will be inline with his other cars pricing.

 

Spoke to rich tonight, he has a few models left on the second flight. I would contact him this week as they will be gone soon...
