If you find a particularly good thread that you want to archive, I suggest "printing" it to a PDF file. You can install CutePDF and then just select this as the printer and print the thread as you would any other item. It creates a PDF file that you can then archive and view at your leisure.
Instead of trying to print it to a PDF because things could be added after you print to pdf, just bookmark it in your browser, then you will always have access to the latest info
Bookmark it and when it's removed or you don't have access to the Internet, what do you do then? 
well since they have gone to not deleting posts (except for the crappy one) here shouldn't be a problem
And who doesn't have access anymore, no one on this forum
It would be nice if the forum supported favorite item feature as part of your profile
With my browser I can simply got o file, Safe Page as..
Give it a name and it saves the entire thread to my hard drive.
I did it a lot before the new forum started saving data.
Still a convenient way to keep the best threads handy.
I have a folder specifically for them.
Note, my browser makes a sub folder and a link file, keep them together.
You can indeed do that, I simply like them in a single file. You can also have them as a single file if you use IE, simply save them as an MHT file.
