Hello Everyone,

I was digging through my old decals and found some Quaker State Tank Car decals that I had made up by Ed Kraemer a number of years ago. I thought I had lost them and was so happy I found them. I had made about 20 tank cars for one of my customers about ten years ago. I decided to build another car and here are the pictures of the construction. The car is made from Plastruct parts except for the air cylinder that was purchased from Grandt Line and the trucks that are from Weaver.

The second picture is of the n-scale prototype car.

The final picture is of the painted shell. I do not think I can buy this Krylon Paint any longer. This enamel paint is so easy to use that you really have to work at creating runs. Too bad they changed the formula.

I will post the car when it is finished  with decals and matte finish.
