I was excited to see that the new Metra passenger cars in the Atlas O catalog were showing fluting on the sides. Then it was brought to my attention by the great guys at Berwyns Toy Trains that the fluting was not part of new tooling but actually painted on to simulate the look of fluting.
Are any of you in possession of cars with this painted on feature that you could take a few pics of and share here so I can get an idea of what this might look like? If you can, an up close pic and a pic at about four feet away would be excellent.
