Came across this youtube video about installing a sound unit into a Polar Express trolley

Don't know whether the installer is a member of this forum but can anyone tell from this photo if you can keep the light when installing the mod or does it need to be severed and discarded as shown in the video? Also, is there a better sound module to use other than the one used in this video?

Has anyone here added sound to a Lionel bump-and-go trolley?

Probably lots of ways to skin the cat. I'm sure you can have a light and sound, I can't imagine why the two can't coexist.

It would be very easy to add sound to the car, I've just never had the need.
