Finally got the time to do a layout and want to do an urban one with subway cars on elevated structures on main board ( what we called the El in NY) and an underground subway on a lower level. Plan on having 8 x 18 feet with two levels.
Been searching but can’t find anywhere track plans for a subway layout. Have seen many great O gauge layouts on the Internet but nothing that shows the actual track plans.
Does anyone have or know where a subway setting track plan can be obtained?
Any suggestions on how high Main level and lower level should be from the ground and how much clearance between the two is needed.
Any products out there for realistic looking NY elevated structures, subway stations etc.
