We stayed there once but, in a mail or baggage (?) car which was divided into two bedrooms. Our granddaughter and her mom stayed in the one room while we had the other. It was pretty cool and of course we had breakfast there as well. It is perfect for that area with all of its railroad features, real and toy alike.

So I can offer quite a bit of insight to this topic - the Owner and Manager, Tyler (and his Father Todd) is a close friend of mine all the way back to high school. His first train was an MTH Railking Genesis set with the Superliners and he's been in love with trains ever since.

I was a bit surprised about 10 years ago when he asked my thoughts on buying the place, as it had been going downhill for sometime and I was skeptical if it could be turned around.  But they pressed ahead and started by vastly improving the restaurant, then fixing up the cabooses, and now the barn has been transformed into a start of the art venue. And they have more planned!

Some great things happening out there and its well worth a stay - its been sold every time I try to get a room, granted this was last minute, so booking in advance should not be a problem.
