I'm so pumped up that MTH is offering the Amtrak 40th anniversary paint schemes on the Genesis locos!!!! I know several of us on the forum here sent email requests over the past couple of years looking for these to be made and its great to have our voices heard.
It's going to be a long wait 'til March for delivery!

I had really wished MTH would offer versions of the 40th Anniversary Genesis units with fixed pilots and scale wheels. They did so with the 40th Anniv. F40PH in the last catalog. I might bite the bullet and get one anyway...
I wish they would do them on a Railking Genesis, heck even make it an Imperial piece like the SD70. If I'm not mistaken, the only RK Genesis are the super short Rugged Rails versions.
I not only want an Amtrak set in RK (I don't like the current RTR set in Phase 4 which is why I haven't bought it - don't like that paint scheme), but I'd love to have an anniversary engine as I see them every now and then when I pass through the Ivy City Yard and surrounding area around Union Station in Washington DC.
