I recently received a DCS system from a local hobby shop to assist in evaluating a lot of PS2 engines recently purchased. The DCS system works fine on input from a PW transformer but when I connectt a Z-750 to the aux power input I get no voltage (red light is on) I jsut bought Barry's book at York, and tried the steps on page 154.
Any other suggestions would be appreaciated. BTW I am rinning 6.0 on a rev I and did a reset in bothe the TIU and remote after upgrade.

The AUX Power just powers the TIU circuitry. If the TIU red led is on then the AUX power is working as intended.
You still need a transformer connected to a TIU channel to power the track and locomotive.

Thanks Marty, I didn't realize you needed a transformer in addition to the Aux power input. The alchemy of the DCS system is all new to me but thanks to you and Barry's book I am taking my first baby steps. Always been a Legacy user.
