We hosted our 7th annual public display, with the greatest attendance yet. It was our hardest to pull together as we lost a couple regular members of our Historical Society that were quite active. We are a Historical Society that is teaching history through a train display, we are not a train club.
There is talk about not setting up in 2020, and that is quite difficult for me personally as I see the positive impact that this has on our local community and the kids, but reality is- it isn't something that we can do without a few more locals stepping up.
Anyhow, enough of the gloom- enjoy some pictures of our latest. Thanks to a couple OGR members that contacted me and donated some running stock to go on the display. The Berk that we received from one of the members logged just under 40 hours of run time. It means a lot when total strangers believe in what we do.
