In another thread,  we were asked to show off our custom or home-made holiday cars!   Well,  the Razorback Traction Company has an entire homemade train!

We'll start off with the "Crimson Comet,"  the customary motive power for the RTC's holiday train...

A ceramic Santa (Wal-Mart) surrounded by presents (Hobby Lobby ornaments) rides on a repainted K-Line depressed center flatcar...

Ironically,  it wasn't until after I added Wal-Mart trees and Hobby Lobby presents to this 6826 flatcar that I learned it had started out as a "Christmas Tree" car.   I think these trees look better than the factory weeds that came with it...

GEDC1447

A festively decorated "Soo Line" boxcar.   We'll get back to this car towards the end of the article.

Teddy bears and presents adorn this ICG gondola.

Hobby Lobby stickers spruce up this faded Mobilgas tanker.

Stickers and presents in this CN hopper!

GEDC1455

Santa uses this Beechcraft when the reindeer get tired...

GEDC1457

And it's not Christmas without Bosco!

GEDC1458

In the interests of ecumenicalism, a K-line Hanukkah boxcar from 1994 rounds out the revenue cars...

GEDC1459

And we wind up with a work caboose sporting a snazzy ceramic Christmas tree!

GEDC1460

As I mentioned earlier,  there's more to the Soo Line car than meets the eye!

GEDC1450

Mary Christmas' car is even equipped with its own lighting!

GEDC1451

Have a happy holiday season!

Mitch

Nice work Mitch. A friend was looking at this and she asked "What company made the Bondage car?"
