A few years ago I upgraded this and another Atlas SD40 to fixed pilots, Kadees and full handrails. (I posted pictures in response to a question on the thread on upgrading Atlas cars). More recently I got around to detailing this one to its late-in-life configuration (designated SD40U). I moved the horn, and added a variety of rooftop details, including a scratch-built air filter, air conditioner and antennas. I still have some weathering touch up to do and I may plate over the class lights on the nose and long hood.
