Wondering who else may be watching the series about "Combat Trains" seen Monday nights on the Smithsonian Channel ?   The first one, last week, was about Japanese trains used to transport POWs.  This week on the 26th was concerning wartime hospital trains and how they started in the Crimean War, then the War Between the States and the use of them by North and South.  The main body of the program centered on the hospital trains used during the First World War, primarily focused on the French and British, and how they evolved during that period.  Good program and setting the DVR for each on every Monday.

Missed it.  I periodically search for "train" "railroad" "railway" and set the DVR to capture whatever is available, and watch them at some later date/time.

One side effect was recording of several "Wagon Train" episodes.  That show was a real gem with guest roles played by some not-yet stars.  And a few scenes show some old-time trains too.
