I have recently seen a set of Weaver 20" aluminum streamlined passenger cars on ebay. Very nice looking cars that I believe would go well with the Lionel Alco PA-1 set that I have. They are listed as used, in original box, two bulbs per car with the silhouetted window films.
What are you view(s) on these cars? Thank you.

The Weaver 20" lightweight cars are well made with nice paint jobs. They run well and operate with no problems with K-Line and Williams 18 inch passenger cars.
I agree, they are very nice passenger cars and worth pursing at a fair price.
I love them. Look great on shelf or running on track, need wide turns to look right. Always looking for more SP Daylights. Mine have 3 or 4 bulbs with the silhouetted windows per car. Some of the newer ones have green tinted windows.
I have several sets of these cars, (incidentally, the cars are actually 21" long, and therefore a full scale, 84' or 85' car) and they work very well, have excellent paint jobs and have not caused any problems. My layout actually has several curves a bit tighter than 72" diameter, probably about 66", and these cars have no trouble negotiating these curves.
Incidentally, Weaver is coming back with the famous Pullman Bradley coaches, (the ones that railfans call "American Flyer" cars) so if any of you guys missed the first go around, here's another chance. These were Eastern RR cars.]

The Weaver lightweight passenger car bodies, PRR fleet of modernism, are 20 inches long, and therefore a scale 80 ft car.
Over the couplers, the length may measure close to 21 inches.
