Sad to look at these old forgotten engines. Don
Okay Ben What is it?
I was just informed the "B" unit will be saved, rebuilt and painted SP Black Widow to match two "A" units. Good news. Don

Jim they were in Schellville California. The line has been upgraded and is running again so these locomotives were moved. I shot this about 6 years ago. The "B" unit was once made into and engine at one time.

Jim, found some more pics and history. You are right on. Bessemer and Lake Erie F7's 718A and 716B. They were parked there in 1998. Don
I'll check tomorrow and find out about the A unit. As you can see they are in bad shape. The people that are getting the B unit don't need another A. Don
Great pictures if some old units

PSU1980,
I really like the Western Maryland! It is one of my favorite fallen flags. I have always liked the Fireball scheme. I like it better than the speed letter scheme and tons better than the circus scheme. While I am not much into today's diesels, the heritage schemes are impressive. The Fireball heritage is impressive. That'a a lot of red, but it defiantly says Western Maryland and no other railroad. Thanks for the photos and videos.
Mark,
Thanks, I was messing around with a bunch of the Lionel CSX Heritage units and decided to finally pull the Lionel's 6-38407 and 6-38408 (2) plus the Heritage caboose (6-27655) which you could not see. What I did not record, maybe next week is the CSX Blue Heritage units 6-38413 / 6-38414-they are really nice, a little shiny but are excellent - I have the caboose as well. Their is a video I posted with those two lashed up the the Family Lines System - another really nice looking Heritage. Just picked up the CSX Heritage Chessie System so that will show up soon too.
Thanks for the comments
Kevin
