recent additions to the roster -
627 & 610 switchers
The 610 was pressed into service to deliver a reefer to the icing station -
210 Texas Special AA units lead some postwar & MPC cars past the 157 station -
616 Santa Fe NW2 leading some postwar cars around the layout-
2328 Burlington GP7 leading set 1562W past the station platforms-
Picking up the 610 allowed me to complete set 1001 from 1955 -
Also, not sure if I posted this before but, got this 3535 for a steal off eBay -
This lets me complete set 2549W from 1960
and where is the best place to hide Easter eggs - on the layout of course!
Lorenzo & the wife checking out the action -
Sample of Lionel's new Cab Forward at Lionel's both
Scott Smith
Uh oh, I don't hear the Cab Forward compressor sounds while it's moving. Hope they don't repeat the same mistake as they did on the 2005 release.
Well I did not make it to York this week but I did pick up my dream locomotive on blow out at my LHS!
So I am in train Heaven!
And the Sound Wow, WOW, WOW!!!
That is a really nice locomotive! Thanks for the photos!
SIRT:
Finally, passenger cars. Great shots, thanks for posting.
Steve (SIRT)
Wow those cars look familiar. I walked through the Northport LIRR Station for elementary school and saw those all the time. Its still a diesel stop and no upgrade to the station for 50 years now. Here is a pic.

Getting some basic scenery layers down finally. Weathered Ross & Gargraves track.
Yes, the roundhouse roof is complete! Interior details and lighting next.
Rock work has been completed on both sides of the canyon.
Maker & Laidoffsick, you both are keeping my Sante Fe theme this week alive and VERY WELL. You just can't beat the Sante Fe.

Really John! As if that's your only dream locomotive. Have ya looked around your basement? It's more like the field of dreams. Glad your enjoying it

I am sorry to say that Steve(SIRT) is correct. Growing up on Long Island the trains were always referred to as commuter trains not passenger cars. But they still are not freight and would look terrific on your layout.

If you are at York and you have not yet been to the black hall, you need to stop by tomorrow. If you're not at york, here's a few pics... B&O Bill loaned me his camera to upload a few of these pics.
Thanks for all the great photos today from York and those from home!!
Who does not like Sante Fe F units.
I don't. I LOVE 'em.
"I cry for happy." Surely, though, somewhere, there must be an old sorehead who doesn't like Santa Fe F units. Oh, well, his loss.
