Ummm...

the BNSF ES44 for sure, probably the UP one as well, NYC heritage unit and the red nose genesis... however I found the lack of amfleets or superliners to be a little strange.

I dont see too many cars I like, which is probably good given how heavy this catalog is on engines I want.

Stinks they dropped the dummy units, but given how long it took them to get the dummies out last year, I'm guessing they've got some capacity problems right now.

A very nice catalog...nice to see the Amtrak 40th anniversary Genesis, that Amtrak set seem to be of terrific value...a fair amount of Canadian Roadname....suspicious about that M&M's galloping goose !!!

Order in for the BLS Traxx (well already since last year )

And undecided between the NH EP-5 set or the Amtrak set.

Wow, I see a pic inside the catalog of a new G gauge 2013 catalog! That's huge news after people spreading gossip that MTH had abandoned G scale.

Yes! they have the scale wheels on the SD45s. Looks like there's a lot to look at for me. I like their high cube's detailing. I would have hoped for LEDs in the passenger cars by now. With them in their engines, that Genesis is looking tempting too!

I may order the Warbaby(All black)SP #4444.

A lot of nice Premier items but as far as big steam and first generation diesels,it's all re-runs as expected. The new GS-4 looks great but I'll bite IF it's offered in another number than 4449.The price is certainly right.I'm looking forward to seeing the newly tooled Premier steam that will be announced next Spring.

I have a question that begs to be asked-why on earth can't they design matching cabooses and hi cube boxcars in historically correct (or close to) the color schemes for the NS Heritage units. Some of these are down right crazy looking like the Wabash,Erie and NYC for example.Keep the fantasy decoration in the Railking line.Go figure.

While I find the catalog to be more interesting than the Lionel catalog released earlier in the week, there's still nothing I can't live without.  Santa Fe F3's?  Really?  It's been so long since we've seen a version of those.  And maybe both companies should have separate catalogs for just Union Pacific, Pennsylvania and ATSF items.

I'll be getting some more Euro tank cars to go with the SBB Cargo Traxx, but those were previously announced so it doesn't really count as an order from this catalog.

Not much there for the Milwaukee Road fan. I didn't see any Premier rolling stock at all in either Milwaukee or Soo (maybe I missed something?). Only one Premier engine, a GP35. Can't recall if they did that one before or not - doesn't matter, I have an Atlas GP35 and way more 4-axle diesels than I'm likely to run. Two Railking Scale offerings in orange and black, an SW-1 and an FP-45. Both reruns, just upgraded to PS/3. A great catalog to save my money.

The NS Heritage items are really neat for those who collect any of those roads. I don't, but there's some pretty cool stuff there if that's what you're into. I especially like the idea of doing hi-cube boxcars for all the railroads. Don't know if that's prototypical or not, but it's a good idea regardless.

I wonder if we need to re-order this since it didn't get produced before--My son has been waiting in this a couple of years.

The NYC is already ordered.

The N&W is the prize of them all I have wanted one of these for many years!!

There's enough there to keep me in the doghouse a long, long time.

First time in maybe forever I found the Lionel catalog much more appealing.  If you only offer a few steamers not sure a Daylight for the 3rd or 4th time really is a big seller except to those who don't have one already.  Even the 6 car sets didn't excite me this time and I am usually good for at least 4 of these from each catalog.  the european stuff must do well but doesn't interest me at all.  would just be nice to see someone offer up some new steam that hasn't been done before.  Some decent offerings in Premier rolling stock but nothing I can't live without.  This will be the first time ever my order from a Lionel catalog will be significantly more than what I preorder from MTH.  Guess maybe next time we'll see some new steam in Premier

I have a Premier NYC Mohawk with quilling whistle and wireless drawbar. A beautiful engine with a great whistle (forget the quilling part it needs to be improved)-- but the locomotive sound set came with a muffled chuff and an awfully annoying generator whine. I have requested that MTH fix the sound set several times. Nothing yet.

As a long time supporter of MTH, I am dissappointed. They made their reputation by innovating and we all benefitted from that. It is my impression they have fallen behind Lionel.  In my opinion, the only reason to purchase a new rerun is to get improved electronics and sound. Where are you Mike?

I for one will not purchase anything from Mike until he fixes the poor quality sound set on the Premier steam locomotive that I refer to above.

Nobody said you have to buy them.  I really like the "fantasy" NYC caboose.

Wow you obviously haven't heard the extremely improved sound quality of the new Blue Goose.

Definitely getting the Amtrak Phase III heritage unit. With the Heritage F40ph offered last catalog, I expect to see the rest of the anniversary train in the not-too-distant future. Four baggage, a sleeper and an Amfleet food-service car will do it.

I'll have to find out at York though. BTW, the prototype train is being kept around as a special-event train.

Other than that, perhaps the N&W Bicentennial SD45 or maybe some CP power. (too bad there aren't any of the red Gov't of Canada cylindrical hoppers to go with 'em--I could use a half-dozen more.

A Premier Southern Pacific passenger set for sure with extra cars to go behind my RK Imperial GS-4.  Disappointed in that there are no Trinity, Gunderson, Thrall or Union Tank Cars in 6 cars sets, with leasing markings on them  Oil companies are ordering these by the thousands for unit trains out of  the Bakken oil fields.  Wanted a tank car unit train to go with my grain car and coal car sets, then I'd have to have a BNSF ES 44 pwrd and Dummy.  Canceled my order   for the RK NP 4-8-4 Imperial when they couldn't get the tender close to right
