As far as the 6019 goes, I am already a member of LCCA and unless they come way down in price I will order mine from Charles Ro.  His early buy price is $300.00 less than what LCCA wants.

LCCA price is $1709. Ro is 300 under that??

Pete, I think somebody is having a bit of trouble with subtraction tonight.  I had my Niagaras on order with Charlie before Lionel announced pricing, and even that group of folks isn't getting a price of $1410.   Slightly better than the website checkout shows, but nowhere near $300 less than what the LCCA wants.  That's wishful thinking on even the best of days!!!  It's funny how some of these numbers get tossed around.

The Williams brass Niagara Is a great running and beautiful  engine. Not quite as detailed as the new Lionel model but the can be bought for a lot less money. While they don't have a sound system, i have added one to my Williams Niagara to add to its operation.i am sure the new Lionel Niagara is a fine model but for someone on a smaller budget the Williams might be a nice alternative. They do come up on ebay  and have also seen them on the TCA classified adds.
