Hey Guys,

I have been looking the Williams 027 FA-2 sets.    They have two basic versions.   One version features a powered unit with one maintenance free can motor.  The other version features a powered unit with dual maintenance free can motors. The price difference is significant, at about $80+.

My question relates to the powered units.  (I would sell the dummy unit).

Other than car pulling power, what is the operating difference between the single motor an dual motor units?   Does the dual motor unit run more smoothly?   Run better a low speeds?   Handle the choppy electronics of crossing and switches better?

I would never have a train with more than 10 cars, so I don't think I need very much pulling power.  On the other hand, if the dual motor version just plain runs better, then I could see buying one.

Thanks for all advice.
