Hello and Merry Christmas all

I'd like to operate my 313 Lionel postwar bascule bridge using a ZW. I won't be using the insulated rail sections (Christmas layout). I just want to use a #90 controller to activate the bridge.  I understand the controller connects to terminal 2 and 3. Using the B output on the ZW, what terminal does it connect to on the bridge? The diagram also shows a second wire (Ground?) going to another transformer terminal (not a ZW). Is that supposed to go to common and if so what terminal screw does it connect to on the bridge?

Would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks so much and Merry Christmas

Note that in the diagram “U” is the center rail.  They are using “A”, an accessory power supply, to power the bridge motor.  “B” is being used to power the track.  There is no problem in not using the isolated sections at either end of the bridge.  You will still need to power the center rail on the bridge.  You can do this by connecting at wire from “U” to terminal 4, if you want it to be unpowered in the elevated position.  If you don’t care, connect the “U” wire to terminal 5.
