I am wiring two Ross Y switches. Both Sw are Ross ready and I am wiring them for non-derail operation. I have added the two wires for the dead rail and gapped the track. I connect all the wires, one non-derail to the sw machine yellow and the other leg to the green, the controller then connected and power connected to the red and black.

When powered up, I rolled a car from the divergen rails but the points do not change. the points  operate from the control bottons. I run seperate power for the sw and track. What am I not doing correctly. Your help is appreciated.IMG_3187IMG_3188

Sorry, I can try to draw up a more accurate diagram later but this is a rough one from Ross.  I have an O54 wye on my layout wired like this.  From the two inner common rails there are two things: 1. you need to isolate the rail, I did this by using insulated pins between the inside common rails and the track I attached to it.  2. You need two wire soldered to those insulated rails.

Those two wires go the yellow and green wires of the DZ1000 switch machine.  Then wire as normal per the diagram.
