Hi, With no apparent changes in my DCS system, the Z-4000 transformer has stopped working. When it is turned on (throttles down), the red light comes on and stays, while track 1 reads 40 volts, 1 amp; track 2 reads no volts, 24 amps. Disconnecting all wires to and from the Z-4000, doesn't change a thing. What's up with this? And what's to do? Thanks, Mike H.

I can't explain why it's staying around, but I think you are seeing the MTH cute way of identifying the Z4000 and it's version information.  (think of reading left to right instead of left handle, then rigth handle) I don't think you are experiencing the volts and amps you mention.

See link here.  Note your numbers match what I see when I power up.

Good luck with figuring out the issue.  Sorry I can't help more.
