The motor brushes in the 2332 motor are housed in an enclosed holder. The only way to get them out and be able to clean the commutator is by removing the brush plate. However, the copper wire that is part of the motor winding is keeping me from being able to remove the plate. It simply isn't long enough to allow the brush plate to clear the brush plate screw bosses.
Is there a trick to this or do I have to unsolder the wire ?
