The Kits are to convert a PS1 to PS2. If you are going to use those kits you'll need to start the wiring process from scratch, just as if you are doing an upgrade. Like Marty stated with those supplied part numbers, those are ps2 boards that are 3v that have the 5v connections in the proper place to use with your existing wiring. If you want to save yourself a great deal of work, consider selling one of the upgrade kits to pay for the already setup 3v - 5v conversion boards. It may be worth it to save you from some of the hassels.

The boards needed for the conversion are AE0000015 and AE0000016

Also you need a diesel 3V to 5V hardware kit which contains the new battery, mounting for the boards with heat sink and the correct 4 ohm speaker.

part number is IC0000024.

All parts are ASC parts only.

Some modification needs to be made to fit the 3V boards and also re-download of the sound file.  Typical takes around 4 hours for us to complete on a single unit diesel with dual motors.
