You just parallel and series them as required to reach your desired system DC voltage and overall storage capacity.

$1.25 seems reasonable for street pricing, although I wonder in how low other have found buying  bulk and slow boat if one can do better.

1F is standard and again is and can be useful. 2.5V actually was the original voltage of many supercaps for a long time and then was raised to 2.7V as manufacturers could improve the process. You can get matching Zener diodes to balance and limit voltage and they match those ratings (2.4V and 2.5V are common ratings).

Put another way, not a bad deal and certainly can be used. As an example, the $4-6 MP3 boards I use to add sound like nice smooth bulk capacitance like this used as a pair in series to reach the 5V. Ideally you don't want to be so close to max spec, but in this case, I feed the board with about 4.5V from a regulator anyway so 2 in series works fine and ensures no sound dropouts or resets.

Actually I wasn't necessarily asking solely for the purpose of making BCR 2 modules.  I was wondering if there were any other uses for it.  I forgot the link (fixed)

Well, if you really want some supercaps like that...

59 cents for a lot of two.

Twenty of them would cost a total of $13.03 including shipping and tax.

$5.90 for the caps, $6.39 for the shipping, and $0.74 for the tax.

Do I ?
Still Not sure.
Like I said,

Can you think of any?  I know they are cheaper at AliExpress, but what can I use them for?
Thanks,
John
