I was atHobby Lobby earlier today and they have a bunch of earth moving equipment tree ornaments that appear to be a bit large but will work.  (I'm not a scale builder, I'm a toy train player-wither.) They appear to made from sort of resin material.  I'm going back for a few back hoes, skip loaders, and track dozers...and any others I can find.  Maybe a half dozen of each.

Ray, as you are aware, it requires a little work to get drivers and passengers in these cars'... but, it is well worth the effort as they look more realistic going down the road than cars driving themselves...  😲   The next modeling generation will have non driver cars...(LOL)............😃

Mayflower was chosen to deliver the new cherry desks and furniture for the offices in the REA transfer and storage buildings.  ERTL didn't make many of these.  John

Represents two well known horse farms here in central Kentucky 

IXO Checker cab (with figures added - model disassembles easily.

Hachette NYC bus (with figures added - model disassembles easily).

NEO Chevrolet Corvair panel van (with figure added - disassembles easily).

ERTL Chevrolet Panel van (disassembles easily, but there isn't enough room in the driver's area for a figure without cutting away a lot of the seat). African-American figure in first photo was switched for a more realistic one in second photo.

Faller 1962 VW Beetle (European spec, not US) - not easily disassembled - interior and exterior detail exceedingly delicate.

Corgi Mack / Fruehauf tractor trailer - to install figures in cab, rivets have to be drilled out, and replaced with screws.

I love VWs anyway but the best part is the parking ticket on the windshield.  What a great touch, WestSideJoe.   Great scene as are all your others.  Thanks for posting.

This is the original Chevy stake truck box. The new kit says the skill level is 2, but the multi-piece cab assembly is a bear to get just right. Too bad they didn't re-mold the cab as one piece.

West Side Joe, you've got some great looking vehicles there.  Great to MABSTOA green on that Fishbowl.  Don't know how you scored the Ballantine Mack, I thought NJHRs had scooped them all up as shown in Paul Romano's picture.

It was one of only two on Ebay at the time. The other one was offered by a UK seller.

Right now there is one on offer on Ebay.

@trumptrain I enjoy seeing your posts every week on SWSat. I know you live in the DC area. I have never seen you post an image of this green roofed building. 

The "Little Tavern Hamburger" shop. I grew up going to the one in Alexandria VA. I loved those greasy paper bags of tiny pickle covered burgers and was so sad they disappeared in the 90's when I went off to college. I remember the building was all metal panels even the embossed roof shingles. Can you share pictures of your model? Is it a kit or scratched?

If there’s a Hobby Lobby near you guys they now have the Atlantis White 3000 Sinclair tanker 

Here are pictures of my house with special cars ('47 Cadillac and Tucker convertible), along with the Red Caboose Motel in Pa., and a car show. I use 1:43 scale, of course.
