Hi Ron, it broke off flush with the outside of where you insert it. It's all good I was able to get it drilled out with a 1/16th drill bit.

Thanks Dallas, it was easier then I thought it would be. I was thinking to heat it; but I used a magnet and found that it wasn’t metal. So I slowly moved it using flats and my fingers. It worked out ok.
I can’t find the thread where someone posted finding a 50’s Packard in Dollar General. I was driving by one and decided to take a look. No Packards Only a few hot wheels and this Ford without a box. For $5 I took it.

A 2035 and 1656. These were originally donated to my club but were recently auctioned off since we honestly had too many "club trains" to give all of them equal running time. Originally I was just going for the 1656 but no one had bid on the 2035 by the end of the auction so I was able to pick it up too, and I'm glad I did as it's a neat little engine.

Another fish fry dinner at St. Joseph in Force Pa . .......just down the hill from Weedville Pa........and the VFM. Charlie ran it on his test track......and the rest is history.
..........fish dinners sure seem to be affected by inflation these days.

Not trains- but without the proper tools, how can we keep our little empires running.....
First up- after a post by GRJ about re-gauging Menards cars, I ordered a wheel puller from Frank at Timko's Repair Depot. Frank was super easy to work with didn't even want payment until I received the item.
If I'm going to start pulling wheels, then a digital caliper is required also (courtesy of HD).
Getting tired of rigging up stuff to test lighting circuits so a small project board was in order.
Finally- a clean soldering iron tip is a happy soldering iron tip.....
Going to put all of these to work soon.

How does the Weaver A run? ,I’ve been using it as a “power car/HEP car” with a Lionel phase 1 F40ph in phase 2 livery- even though the F40’s didn’t require it

Lionel 50’ Railbox. Has an ACI label, type XAF10 with appropriate car data to that type. Purchased on sale for $30
MY favorite, Atlas Railbox “On track for a Cure” 50’ boxcar. With safety stripes. For Aunt Jane(RIP), my Grammy and all those who have been affected by breast cancer

I recently won these Atlas Industrial Rail P70 coach and combine car set on EBay. I’m running them as a local with my KLine K4. My next project will be to add some passengers to them.

The 8 streamlined passenger cars pulled by the Daylight 4449 back in say, 2018.
Saw them in a 2018 video. 21 in. with diaphrams of course.

The Weaver A unit runs really well. It's conventional of course. I tweaked it just like I do all my conventional locos: wire the motors in series, added digital sounds, cab figures, etc.

I have bought several cool things recently. Most cool is the Lionel custom run Pacific in Baltimore & Ohio livery from @MrMuffin'sTrains that I had weathered by Harry Hieke, along with 6 Atlas Madison passenger cars. This was the first experience in the weathering department, and they don't disappoint.
I posted a total of 7 videos on YouTube. Enjoy.

This just came in today. I must say that I’m not impressed with the plastic trucks. I went to DuPont jr and DuPont high school. They were in and near DuPont city where the DuPont plant was east of Charleston WV. I used to see DuPont tank cars pass beside our house growing up. Like within feet (40ish or so).. I wanted to represent that on my layout. It’s been hard to find anything.
