Bought a bunch of parts during LIONEL's 50% off sale (BIG THANKS to LIONEL) to make my personalized Texas Special passenger train; and, from a forum member, some very hard to find (been looking on and off for several years) Microscale decals for two projects.

Almost forgot, I also bought $25.00 in tools to do a $10 repair job--it's called "hobby math."

Dude, I've been wondering how to justify my tool purchases! Thanks for the heads up!!!

Ahh!  My wife wants me to sand & refinish the top of our kitchen island.  I see a new cordless orbital sander in my future.  I have a couple corded sanders that are a PITA to use.  Thanks.

Well Bob, you should know!  I know we are incorrect in my neck of the woods about a lot of our wording.  Besides cabinets, we usually call closets cupboards too.  One word for all.  Nice and simple!

Izzy doesn't care as long as there is ice cream in the ice box!!!!

Got in fourth of these Carolina Craftsman Kits.  First two, a grain elevator and coal shed are built and photoed. The one received today is "Belville Supply", a two story country store that will get a bash with gas pumps, porch roof, and ? The fourth is a small barn that may get a workshop, garage doors, and ?. Makers said they had hurricane damage, so hope they recover and can crank out more kits like that large elevator.

Went to LOWES to get my Veterans discount on my new cordless orbital sander for my HoneyDo  project, top of kitchen island.  Oh yeah Mike, I already have 2 shop vacs.  Gracie is liking the sun before snow tonight.

Also, in case I forget "Happy Veterans Day".  "Off we go into the wild blue yonder"!  I'm helping our church with a food & warm clothing drive for Liberty House, a veterans residence & outreach center in Manchester NH.  Please pray for a successful campaign from Vets Day through Thanksgiving.  Thanks.

Matt,

Gracie looks just as happy as can be in the sun.

The great tools are great they have out now.  I have put off buying some, feeling guilty because I have once I bought 35 or 40 years ago.  But since things are harder for me to do now, I am looking for ones that are easier to use.

I'll pray for your Church's work on the food and clothing drive for the Liberty House!  That's a great name by the way!

Matt, you have the wife's and I prayers! We try to pray for them daily as I am also a vet and know its not always easy! I just wish some people would try and understand a person before judging! God Bless you and the Liberty House!

Izzy doesn't care as long as there is ice cream in the ice box!!!!  Belly!!!

But we say "freezer"

We also just say left or right or "stove", then top or bottom shelves in the kitchen. Every cabinet has doors, so it works out fine; while YOU have to say top shelf of....

...sumptin'    And we drink "pop", not soda... nor an "orange Pepsi/ orange Coke" (Alabama... I always said "what?" in the drive-thru just so I could laugh at it twice. On the other hand, the first try, they didn't have any suckers for sale (lolli-POPs)).

I stared at a tank car literally all day....again!

I can never decide what to do to it
