I don't think Paul would be what you would call a sponsor.......enabler maybe.......

I resemble that remark, Bob!!!

By the way… did you see that NLOE just announced their next offering??? As a Lawn-guy-Lind ex-pat, you might be interested too Joe

Nice car but I'll pass on this one. Would have been better if they wrapped the load with one of the old yards like Kleet.

I have a wife that loves teaching middle school age kids.  She says, "Someone has to love them." Along with the kids she liked a show called "Psych".  You might understand why I needed a pineapple car.  Finally found a postwar 6475 in my price range, nothing broken and 4 vats in excellent shape.  It took a 2nd busted up donor to get all good vat labels.  If you get one of these, be very careful in servicing and cleaning the vat labels.

It came along with a few other cars that were on my postwar list.

And an engine in good shape

Newly arrived from the Red Lion Road plant of the Edward G. Budd manufacturing company, in northeast Philadelphia, the consist for The Crusader.

Tranquil Hollow RR, NICE! I have the Santa Fe version of those passenger cars and there are some interesting differences. Questions: Did the baggage car come with interior LED lighting? Your models have vents on the roof, my SF version do not, are those original? The roofs on my SF look a little plain without vents, yours look next level, I like it.

Anyway, they are a great addition to your layout! Enjoy!

When I first saw the pics I had that little tingle in the back of my neck happening ........... and indeed it turns out to be a John Van Riemsdijk controlled clockwork 0-6-0 Peckett saddle tank locomotive .. made in the 50's by the man himself in his workshops in gloomy old England

Hope you can find the key for it Fatman........mostly so the rest of us can see your video of it running.

She sure is a beauty though , just setting there.

Looking good, hope you can pick up another FA, for the consist

Great Cup, as to the real world, presently the Tourist Railroad out of Ely Nevada is having a memorial to their round house cat "Dirt," and I believe they had a coffee cup with His picture on it. I use to have one, it disappeared, but I plan to get another. I have never been their and am not associated with them and yes this a plug. but what better way to promote the hobby then to support the real thing

No I don't actually love it,  Having done time at UPS and had the box showed more signs of damage itself, you could file a claim against the carrier,  but it looks more like bad packing.  The top of the cab level with the top of the box, doesn't look like it had any Cushing at all.  Looks like your only recourse is to take it up with the seller, or custom repair it.

Yeah he already responded since the first post and stood tall with a full refund so we’ll be ok.

Boy are you scaring me Vince.

I appreciate doing the Christmas layout and seeing everyone's on the forum .........but I have a really rough time trying to figure out what to get Judy for Christmas.

She may not appreciate it, but one year I got my wife an observation car, painted in her favorite color, with her name on it. lik they did in the olden days.  WE are no longer married

Just received two MTH Reading and Northern tank cars (different road numbers). Now I need to get some R&N engines to pull them.

Nice tankers, Bob. Grzyboski’s did a custom run of Lionel Reading & Northern SD40-2’s recently - sweet engines (they still have some last time I looked).

Update: just ordered one of the tankers… would have ordered both, but the E-ZCatch home page showed another of their special runs - a Jade Green NYC Jade Green hopper. Just had to get one of those too. Looks like I’ll have to pay closer attention to another forum sponsor!!!

Thanks, Paul. That's a nice looking engine. I'm only about an hour from Grzyboski's so I'll have to make time to run up there. Hmmmm.....it's Mother's Day weekend; I'm sure my wife would love to have one of those as a gift.

LOL   I feel obligated to point out, Bob, any damage to the engine sustained when she hits you in the head with it IS NOT covered under the warranty
